STATE POLICE BAND AND BUGLER CONSTABLES OF CIVIL POLICE

The Band unit plays a pivotal role in the State level functions, Ceremonial Parade, District level functions and other Police as well as Govt. functions. Besides, it is used in the public arrival of the President of India, Vice-President and Governor and at the time of giving Rastriya Salute to the above dignitaries. The Band also plays it’s tunes while giving Salute to the Martyrs. The Band plays its tune at the Republic day parade, Independence day parade and on the beating the retreat parade.
